Shipping Policy

Products purchased on Deckers-Nursery.com ship to the 48 contiguous United States only. International Shipping is NOT available. Deckers-Nursery.com reserves the right to deny orders to shipping locations where additional fees may apply or may allow the customer to pay any additional fees in order for order processing to continue.

How do our Products ship:

We choose the best method in which to ship your product to ensure their safe arrival to your shipping location. Our products ship via UPS, Fedex, Or LTL Freight/Common Carrier.

Orders that are shipped via LTL Freight/Common Carrier are packaged securely on a pallet and shrink wrapped to ensure safe arrival at your shipping location.

If your order ships via LTL Freight, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email, once your order is shipped. This order confirmation will contain your LTL shipments Bill of Lading (BOL) number, which is your shipment’s tracking info. When your shipment arrives at the shipping terminal responsible for the delivery to your location, it is then when you will be contacted by the trucking company to set up a delivery date and time. Once the trucking company arrives at your location, they will unload your palletized item onto your property with a liftgate. The trucking company will place your palletized order as close to your home as they can get it. The trucking company is required to place the pallet onto your property, ie: driveway, sidewalk in front of your shipping location, etc. The trucking company will NOT assist you with final placement, unpacking, installation or removal of any packing debris.

When your shipment arrives at your location it is very important to make sure you inspect the entire pallet before signing for the delivery.  It is important to do an inspection to make sure there are no visible signs of damage. If you are unable to view all of the items within the pallet, please note on the delivery slip, “Unable to inspect for hidden damage.”.  In the event that you do come across a damaged piece or item, please see the below section on Damages and Claims.

If you order ships via UPS, Fed-Ex or USPS ou will receive a shipping confirmation via email with your shipments tracking number, once your order is shipped. These orders that are shipped UPS, FED-Rx or USPS can be left at your home front door without a signature for delivery. Please note that it is important to inspect the package when and while you unpack your items. If there are any damages you must take pictures and send to us immediately so a claim can be processed and a replacement will be sent out.

Damages and Claims:

In the event of a damaged item or piece is found upon delivery, it must be noted on the Bill of Lading signed by you at delivery time.

All of our manufacturers do their very best to ensure your order arrives safely and complete to your shipping location. In the event that a damaged or missing item does occur, a claim must be reported within 24 hours of documented delivery.

We request photos of the damaged product for replacement pieces or credit to be given as well as submission for damage claims and for informational purposes for future packaging/product solutions.   You may also be required to keep the damaged product and all shipping materials for a period of time for any shipping company (UPS, FEDEX, or Common Carrier) to inspect the product until final claim completion.
