Also known as a Parlor Palm, this houseplant is easy to care for. Although the palm family is large, only a few make good houseplants.. The Parlor Palm is one of those few, adapting beautifully to average indoor conditions. Elegant, green leaflet on arching fronds give this palm a feathery shape and appearance. Slow-growing, this palm can mature to 3-4' tall. Prefers medium to bright light but not direct sunlight; (if leaves turn yellowish green, it may be getting too much light). Keep soil lightly moist but not soggy. While the Parlor Palm will tolerate dry indoor air, it will be healthier with higher humidity; a good misting with room-temperature water once a week will help keep the humidity up as well as keep its leaves clean.
